En ibland förbisedd semesterpärla är Malta vars huvudstad Valletta med omnejd är en kosmopolitisk tummelplats i en historisk inramning med traditionell arkitektur och kulturella lämningar från ett otal epoker alltsedan de feniciska sjöfararna landsteg runt 800 f.Kr. till vårt tidevarv när ön tillhörde det brittiska imperiet.
